Lomira Area Community Theatre
About Us
Lomira Community Theatre was the dream of founder Paul Dankers. The first musical performed was Stephen Schwartz' "Children of Eden" in 2001 which Paul directed and performed in with numerous cast members who realized their love of the stage for the first time. Paul directed the next three shows; "The Fantastics", "The Baker's Wife" and "Honk!" before leaving Lomira for Colorado where he continues to be involved in music. The first Board of Directors was formed in 2004 with Fran Coulter as the first President. Since then, the Board of Directors have continued Paul's dream by ensuring that there continues to be theater in Lomira. Each year the company performs a play in the spring and at the end of the year, a Winter Variety Show, offering opportunities for all ages to be involved.
